Objective

To develop a pipeline of skilled technicians by partnering with various High Schools Agricultural and FFA programs, fostering relationships with students who show an interest in agricultural mechanics and machinery, and creating pathways for education and employment in the field.

  • Introductory Meeting: Schedule and conduct meetings with the agricultural educators and FFA advisors at various High Schools to introduce our dealership, outline our commitment to education, and discuss partnership opportunities.
  • Memorandum of Understanding (MOU): Formalize a partnership agreement to set clear expectations, roles, and mutual benefits.
 

Program Sponsorship and Engagement

  • Annual Sponsorship: Sponsor events such as FFA competitions, career fairs, and equipment showcases to build brand visibility and show commitment to the school’s program.
  • Scholarships and Awards: Offer scholarships for students excelling in agricultural mechanics or showing interest in pursuing a career as a technician.
  • Tool and Equipment Donation: Provide Rockwall High School’s ag program with relevant tools, machinery, or training materials that align with industry standards.
         

Education and Training Initiatives

  • Guest Lectures and Workshops: Schedule Four Brothers Outdoor Power technicians and service managers to conduct workshops or guest lectures at the school, focusing on topics such as tractor diagnostics, repair fundamentals, and safety practices.
  • Hands-On Training Days: Host students at the dealership for practical learning days where they can shadow technicians and experience real-world service operations.
  • Summer Internship Program: Launch an internship program during the summer months where selected students can work alongside seasoned technicians and earn work experience

  • Technical Training Partnerships: Coordinate with nearby technical schools and certification programs to streamline student entry into post-secondary training, with Four Brothers Outdoor Power as a future employer.
  • Fast-Track Employment Program: Develop a structured entry-level technician program for graduates of Rockwall High School’s ag program, which includes mentorship and training at the dealership, progressing to full-time positions.
  • Apprenticeship Opportunities: Create an apprenticeship model that pairs students with experienced technicians for long-term skills development and job readiness.
             

Promoting Female Participation in the Industry

  • Inclusive Outreach Initiatives: Partner with Rockwall High School to host events specifically tailored to encourage female students to explore careers in agricultural mechanics and technology. Highlight female-led workshops and talks.
  • Mentorship Program for Young Women: Connect female students with women professionals in the industry, including members of the Four Brothers team, to provide guidance and inspiration.
  • Scholarships for Female Students: Offer dedicated scholarships for female students who show interest and aptitude in agricultural mechanics, emphasizing Four Brothers Outdoor Power’s commitment to diversity.
